The site
Editorial policy and disclosure
We don’t earn a commission when you click through to a hat. This page is where that, and any other relationship with a brand, is written down.
We compare hats using manufacturers’ published specs, prices and the clinical research, and we don’t earn commission on links. How we review.
Guide to Growing Hair does not earn a commission when you follow a link to a hat, a journal or the NHS. Any other commercial relationship with a reviewed brand will be stated on this page. A recommendation is a reading of the published price, specification and research, not a promise that hair will regrow.
On this page
On this page
Guide to Growing Hair is a buying guide. It is not a shop, and it is not run by RedLight Innovation, CurrentBody, HigherDOSE or Beauty Pie. The legal name of the company that operates it is not confirmed yet. Until it is, the publisher name in the footer, on the about page and in the site’s structured data is Guide to Growing Hair.
How is Guide to Growing Hair funded?
We don’t earn a commission on links. The site is a buying guide, not a shop. The Hat Pro link is the brand’s ordinary product page. It has no affiliate parameters and no campaign code. Links to the other brands, the NHS, GOV.UK and the journals are the same kind of link: so you can read the page we read.
You don’t pay a different price because you came from here. Prices in the comparison were taken from the brand pages, and the table says when. A future paid link would have to be described on this page before it went live. None is live now.
Does the site have a commercial relationship with the brands?
Any sponsorship, equity, gifted product or other commercial relationship with a brand we review will be written in this section. That wording is not confirmed yet. Until it is, the only money fact we will state is the one already settled: we don’t earn a commission on links, and RedLight Innovation does not run this site.
What does a recommendation on this site mean?
We can name a best overall. It is a reading of the published price, specification and research. It is not a promise that hair will regrow. The current one is the RedLight Innovation Hat Pro, for the reasons on the homepage: the price, the fit, the coverage and the wavelengths, read against the research.
UK advertising rules, including the CAP Code, expect commercial relationships to be identifiable and claims to be supportable. This page is the working rule, not a legal opinion. If a page fails it, use the contact page once a public address is published, and name the URL.
Common questions
Do you earn money from links?
No. Links to RedLight Innovation, CurrentBody, HigherDOSE, Beauty Pie, the NHS, GOV.UK and the journals are ordinary links to the pages we read. They do not carry affiliate or campaign parameters.
Does that decide the best overall?
No. The Hat Pro is best overall because of its price, fit, coverage figure and wavelengths. The comparison table stays in price order.
Who runs the site?
A company separate from the brands we review. Until its legal name is confirmed, the site is published as Guide to Growing Hair. It is not run by RedLight Innovation.
